Serving residents of the greater Santa Cruz Valley, the Center complex will consist of a state-of-the-art 500-seat theater, a smaller theater studio, a rehearsal studio, art gallery, classrooms and support facilities. The Center will provide the only true public performing arts and education venue between Tucson and Nogales, attracting quality performers and serving the needs of many local clubs and organizations.

After an extensive search process, Burns Wald-Hopkins was selected as the architectural firm for the CPAC project. Principal professionals guiding the design planning were Antoine Predock, principal architect, Jerald R. Hyde, acoustics consultant, and Fred Masino, theater consultant.
